First snow!

We got our first snow in mid-October! It's beautiful here on snowy sunny days... The snow didn't last too long, but it was convenient that we had clear roads when CJ came for a few days at the end of October, since we could get around by bike.

And a few photos from hiking with CJ (there was still some snow in the hills, which actually resulted in very wet feet and us getting a little lost). We had a very good visit, though, and the hiking trip ended up being a lot of fun even though we had to walk in the dark along the road a bit to get to the tram (since we missed the last bus).
